Probably we should understand this to mean that the Father will judge us all through the Son (cf. 32It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. The passage where some manuscripts refer to 'the judgment seat of Christ' but most to that of God ( Rom14:10 ) forbids us to judge one another and tells us that God or Christ will judge us all. 31Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. The common opinion that the Millennium is to be ushered in by the preaching of the Gospel, and that after the Millennium there is to be a 'General Resurrection' followed by a 'General judgment,' and then the earth is to be destroyed by fire is not scriptural. 30And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. The Judgment Seat of Christ is definitely only for the believer and the Great White Throne Judgement is for all unsaved. 29For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. 28And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
